We spotted glass being replaced in one of the stores recently affected by the rioters this morning, although Raffles remains boarded up.
It's good to know our local businesses are getting back to normal and that we've been included by the local police in the mobile screens next Monday.
We were disappointed by the comments on some other local blogs regarding this initiative; to be frank they were pointless and petty and showed what we think is a lack of sensitivity to our local traders and to our police who need our support right now, not cheap jibes.
